Rockets deal Brooks to Suns
The Houston Rockets have traded point guard Aaron Brooks to the Phoenix Suns for Goran Dragic and a first round draft pick.
Brooks was due to be a free agent in the offseason and the Rockets were not likely to be able to re-sign him.
The deal isn’t the only one the Rockets made at the trade deadline, also sending Shane Battier to Memphis for Hasheem Thabeet and a draft pick.
From both trades, it’s clear that the Rockets have given up on the current group of players and are looking to go into a full rebuild. (more…)
